CCA

After the results of what CCA I was going to was out, I found out I had been posted to NPCC(National police cadet corps)I was quite happy with it, because if I joined this CCA, I would already have an experience and know how to do more things related to army before I even do my NS. The first training was about drills, and it was quite fun, although when the sweat touched my eye, I could not rub it off. This would teach me discipline. On the next training, we learned another new set of drills, and was introduced to PT(physical training). The PT was still easy as it was the beginning of the year. But the drills this time required a little arm strength, because we had to hold our hand up while practising.

The Lady, or the Tiger?

The big wooden door on the right creaked open. As he was pushing it open, he knew what would lie behind the door.A small hole opened, too small for anyone to see, but what was behind the door was a ferocious tiger that stood behind the door, almost as tall as him. That tiger seemed to have not been fed for the days, and was waiting to just jump out and pounce on him and devour him whole. Some of the audiences already seemed to had their opinions on what would come out, some were hoping it would not be a tiger, because the sight would be horrific. But everyone was waiting, just waiting for the animal or lady to come out.
The door was now big enough for the tiger to come out. In the speed of lightning, the tiger jumped out and attacked him. The princess closed her eyes, to avoid such a scene. Some sadistic audiences cheered, while some afraid of the scene like the princess closed their eyes.
After everything was done, many asked her was that the door she was wanting him to choose, and why? Well, the princess did not answer those questions. But the reason why she guided him to choose that door was, if she guided him to choose the door with the lady, she would be hurt everytime she saw them. The pain would be much greater, than just being hurt for only a few moments seeing him get devoured. And it would also put her at peace, for she would no longer regret why could she not have the man she loved.

Lamb to the slaughter

After, I read the story lamb to the slaughter, I found Mr. Maloney and Mrs.Maloney had both done wrong things. Mr.Maloney should not have told her he was leaving her to live with another woman while she was pregnant. While Mrs. Maloney, should not have assumed since he betrayed her, she can kill her husband. So in this story I found both Mr. Maloney and Mrs.Maloney were wrong. But I found Mrs.Maloney rather scheming, because she tought of an ingenious plan to get rid of the murder weapon, the leg of lamb. While I found the detectives rather stupid, this because Mrs. Maloney was a wife of a detective, and probably knew how to cover up what she did, so they should have suspected her more, and be more cautious of what she asks them to do. Overall, I felt this story was a great story, because it was very descriptive, and the way how she got rid of the Lamb leg was great.

Some test

I felt from this test about myself, that I was actually quite intrapersonel and visual smart. But one of my test result also said that I was Logical or number smart, and I liked that alot because my favourite maths is maths, and that is what I am best at. But I was much more intrapersonal than interpersonal, which showed that I should try to get along with people better

Info about the lamb leg in "lamb to the slaughter"

The younger the lamb is, the smaller the lamb will be; however, the meat will be more tender. Sheep mutton is meat from a sheep over two years old, and has a less tender flesh. In general, the darker the colour, the older the animal. Baby lamb meat will be pale pink, while regular lamb is pinkish-red.
The recipe used by Mrs Maloney to cook the lamb was proably used to make the meat more tender and tasty. The tastiness is used to distract the detectives from thinking to much about the meat, thus decreasing the chances of them suspecting the lamb leg. Also, it has to be tender because this will make the detectives think that the piece of lamb leg is not hard enough to be a weapon.
